Spinach and Bacon Treat

Who doesn’t love Bacon? I like bacon, but the jury is out on whether Bacon is healthy. We can make it a bit more healthy by adding some Spinach into the mix. Surprisingly, with a little cream, this mix is amazing to taste. You’ll be buff like Popeye in no time (maybe, I’m not your personal trainer).

Makes 4 servings.




  1. Put paper towel on top of a plate.
  2. Dice the bacon.
  3. Put bacon in pan and heat over medium heat for about 8 minutes or until crispy.
  4. Remove bacon from pot and place on plate mentioned earlier.
  5. Keep bacon fat in pan.
  6. Stir butter into pan and melt completely.
  7. Add garlic to pan and stir for 1 minute.
  8. Mix in milk and cream into pan. Be sure to slowly put in the dairy.
  9. Add in Spinach to pot.
  10. Stir until Spinach is wilted and sauce is thick.
  11. Add bacon and cheese, combine well, until cheese is slightly melted.
  12. Transfer to serving bowl and serve.
